Fits computer perfectly! wonderful protection! Didn't give 5 because the decal is an iron on and you have to be careful to not place the computer on the case at all when running. Thankfully I was warned by another review before this happened to me.Great sleeve
This is a great sleeve that fits the new macbook really well. Exactly what I expected, looks just like it does in the picture. The zippers don't zip down all the way on the sides, but I prefer it this way.A great way to protect a laptop.

Just about everything I wanted in a backpack for my new laptop
Very sturdy backpack. Holds laptop, all gear with it, files and books. Very nice compartments in all sections of the backpack. Only change I would make would be to add more padding to the laptop compartment and make sure it was waterproof. I carry a large plastic bag to put the laptop in just in case of heavy rain. I'm fortunate that I only carry the laptop from car to office or home so I can't comment how comfortable it is for extended periods. Nice selection of colorsbad, bad, bad
Bad, bad, bad, I ordered a backpack with free shipping and checked out through paypal. After a week I was tolded that the backpack was unavailable. Why would it take a week to inform someone that it is unavailable? So we ordered a different one with a 25 % additional discount coupon they offered us. Delivery took a week. We were still being charged on our paypal account for the first bag and thier customer service department told us that if you pay with credit card they don't take the money out of your account until they ship the bag but since it was paypal they took the money out of our account before they shipped and that this problem was between us and paypal. So now we have to go through the claim process with paypal. Will never buy anything from this store again.Great backpack!
I bought this bag a few years ago, since then, I have used it extensively with 4 different laptops. In the time of ownership, the main pocket zipper broke. I promptly emailed eBags and in about 2 weeks, they sent me a new one! I didn't even send have to send the busted one back to them. What customer service!! Now, onto the bag itself...I use it daily for work and have used it on many vacations as I take my 15 MacBook Pro with me everywhere. It is very durable, has enough pockets to hold all the crap I carry with it (at times it feels like an oversized man bag with all the stuff I put in it). It holds my MB Pro just fine, along with a textbook or two and many folders. The padding seems to keep it safe and secure and the straps are comfy, too. In the outside pockets, I keep my glasses and a water bottle. The only thing missing is an umbrella strap to bring in case of rain ;) Plus there is a special pocket for some DVD/CD's, in the great middle zippered pocket where you can also store store pens, pencils, business cards and more. There is a mesh pocket inside to store whatever you need to see quickly and a strap to hold keys and what not. Overall, it is has been a great purchase and would definitely buy an eBag again, in a heartbeat.Great compact bag
I have this bag for two weeks now and it is great for daily use. It fits a laptop and a few extra items like books and a charger. It has only one big compartment to keep things. If you are looking for keeping a lot of items this bag is not for you. I bought the 'burnt orange', I love the colour!good organization, lasted 3 years
i had one of these bags from ebags and it lasted for almost 3 years until the zippers started breaking off. the back strap had started breaking off earlier but didn't affect the use of the backpack. my usually load was a 4-lb laptop and its basic accessories, and another 4 lb of books and papers, etc. i loved the organization of the bag -- many pockets and compartments for different things. but i wouldn't rate it as the most sturdy bag.6/27/08

A lot of room
This pack has plenty of room! I used it in a trip in Europe that required a lot of walking. Even though I had it pretty heavy because of all my contents, it distributed the weight to where my back did not notice the extra weight.Excellent

I can see why this backpack is Amazon's number one seller -- it is roomy, sturdy, and has lots of pockets and space for not only a laptop, but anything else you might want to carry. The extra padding makes it extremely comfortable to carry on your back. I've shopped for a pack for weeks in NYC and have not found anything nearly approaching this quality for the price. A real bargain, and I can't wait to use it every day, when I walk, and ride my bike or scooter. Also, I recommend LuggageGuru -- they had the best price, and their customer service was outstanding. They found a pack in the color I wanted and swapped it out for the one ordered online. Even the shipping and tax was less than Macy's (who did not have the color I wanted in stock).Great backpack

I just started college and needed a bag for my laptop and my books. I have a Acer 15.4 and it fits snuggly in the bag. The bag itself is a bit heavy. When you add the laptop (6lbs)folders notebooks and softcover books it was a bit heavy for me. I have had it for about 1 week and I seem to be getting used to the weight. My books are not that big so I am conserned when I do get big textbooks, or when my folders start to get full. I also carry a small lunch in one of the front pockets and 2 water bottles on either side of the bag. It is a very large bag and hold just about everything. It took me a while to get used to all the different pockets. I guess if I start lifting some weights I should be fine with the bag next semester when I get bigger books!!!LOL :> I love the color,the padding is great because it protects my computer,and all the room it gives me....just wish it where a bit lighter! I should mention that I didnt really pay for it,i used my Amazon rewards certificates. So I guess a free product is better than nothing!!!6/23/08

No top handle
I have had this bag a couple weeks now and I am looking for another. It may work well for you, but it doesn't work very well for me, because every time I put it in the car or take it on / off my desk, I miss the small handle that most bags have on the top for just this purpose. Instead, I am lifting my arm way up into the air to elevate the bag - not great for the ol' back. This bag only has a shoulder strap. Also it's not large enough for what I need to put in it (I'm a teacher), there's virtually no expansion, and I find the extra pockets unwieldy. Very stylish though.Great!!!!!!!!!!

I did a lot of looking around for the right bag and when I saw this and read the reviews, it seemed like a fit. I was right. The quality of the leather is very good and smooth. It looks professional and with my tablet, it fits in the slot perfectly with room for the power adapter next to it. I don't like bulky, so this fit the bill well. There are plenty of pockets to hold things too. The only thing I find annoying functionally is that it doesn't have an attached handle at the top, so I have to slide it off my shoulder to put down in the car as opposed to grabbing it. Not the biggest ordeal in the world, just something I noticed. However, a handle would probably hurt the look of the bag anyway. Either way, I highly recommend this bag for any professional who wants a sleak lightweight look. By the way, I read complaints about the strap being sewn on being a problem - this hasn't been an issue at all.Good looking bag
This is a very nice looking bag and holds my 15 inch laptop without a problem. I have two complaints: 1. The strap is a little short and cannot be replaced because one side is sewn into the bag. It hangs awkwardly when I wear it across my shoulder. This could be very awkward for someone tall 2. The leather is thin. I will be interested to see how the bag holds up. it does come with a warranty.Nice Quality for the Price
Nice quality bag for the price. I thought the leather was a little thin at first, but it is holding up nicely. I travel a lot and there is enough room for a mid-sized laptop (padded laptop pocket), power supply, accessary cords, file folders, etc. There are a few hidden pockets that are nice for boarding pass and to toss your wallet & cell phone into while clearing airport security. The bag also allows for quick and easy access of laptop while going through airport security. Shoulder strap is wide and adjustable but is not cannot be replaced as it's sewn to the bag.6/22/08

The perfect bag...for college students.
After reading quite a few negative reviews for this bag, I thought I would write a review to clarify something. This is a messenger bag, not a backpack. A messenger bag was and is never meant to hold all the items a backpack can. So basically, if you're using this bag for school purposes, keep this in mind. This bag can hold items for possibly up to 3 classes. So while it's perfect for a college student who might have a class, then another class right after it. This bag would be horrible for a high school student, who might have to drag home texts for six classes. Of most messenger bags, the Elefunk bag is probably going to be your best choice, cause of its size and number of compartments. We have 3 of these bags, 2 of which are used for education, and the third is used as a utility/diaper family bag. For education, as I stated before, it's best for college students. The main compartment is spans out and can hold 2 college texts, binders, and study guides snug. Keyword there is snug, cause it's not big enough to carry more. Inside the main compartment is a little sleeve held tight by a velcro patch. I use this to keep my study guides from my texts. Okay, next comes the the front pocket attached to the main compartment. This compartment is big enough to fit my 12 inch iBook in a neopreen cover, or a 13 inch MacBook bare. Warning, if you place your MacBook in this pouch, careful how you toss this bag around, cause it offers no padding and is very unforgiving. Inside this front pouch is a zippered sleeve fine for putting loose change or maybe id cards or what not. Next to the zippered sleeve are two pouches for pens and pencils, even a TI calculator, that is if you're not planning on putting your notebook in that pouch. Don't worry though, cause attached to that pouch on the outside are two zippered compartments opposite one another to the front pouch. On one side I put my black leather data file, and on the other side, I put my TI-89 calculator. Then that leaves the flap, which is secured to the bag using strong plastic clips. On the front of the pouch is a zippered compartment. Which I pretty much can only use it to pack up a couple magazines to read, if I'm waiting between classes. You can also use it to pack up headphones or earbuds, to listen to you iPod or whatever. As for the shoulder strap, it's about as comfy as it's going to get. Keep in mind, you're lugging 20 to 30 pounds of books and supplies, it's not suppose to feel like a Chinese massage. But I can't complain. As for a family bag. Eh, I wouldn't suggest this to a newly mother who wants to go down to a mall. Cause stores will not let your take this bag in there. But if you're on a trip, or going on a flight, this bag is excellent. You can pack away all your babies needs, and other essentials. Anyway, I just didn't like seeing a product I use, and like, getting knocked, cause a couple people misjudged how to use it properly. Again, if you're taking more than 2 or 3 classes at a time, this bag isn't for you. But if you're a run of the mill college student, who takes a class or two at a time, then goes home. This bag is a must.Pretty Good - Except for handle
The picture doesn't do this bag justice. The colors are way cooler than this picture. I really like this bag. I pack it with about 40 lbs of books with no problem. My only complaint is the rinky-dink handle on the top of the bag. There are times when I just want to carry my bag without putting it over my shoulder but the handle hurts my hand because it's so tiny and cheap.Backpack or laptop case?

I had an older messenger bag from Jansport that i unfortunaltey lost along the way. This seemed to be a suitable replacement. It is a little large for my tastes. I guess they make adequate space for a laptop, but I dont need it for that, for the most part. Pockets are certainly big, the grab handge is a little narrow, and thin. A little more color would be nice, because it is all black, with the exception of the logo being outlined in red. other than those minor complaints, i do like it.6/21/08

The case I received, looked virtually identical, to that which was featured in the product review pictures for the item being sold. Once it was in my hands though, it was very clear that the fabric the case had been made of, was not top quality. It is thinner than what I expected. In my opinion, it would offer very little to no protection to my laptop, should it be bumped/dropped even softly. More obvious, was the fact that the case was made about 2 inches to wide, allowing my laptop to slide about inside. This excess space would have been helpful, if it were enough to accommodate the power cable, but of course it did not. For the value, I feel I got my money's worth. It's just nice when you can buy something online, only to have the manufacturer/retailer exceed your expectations, in some way. This was not my experience. Would I buy this item again in the future, should the need arise? Quite possibly. But I would also strongly consider saving the extra money, to buy a better made case, to protect my Mac and the THREE thousand dollars it cost me! :)laptop topper

I have to say only one thing, SPACE. This bag have very much space and all the things that you need to put in there will arrange in a perfect fit, so it will no incomodate or being hard to carry. It's serious, spacious and practical! After I have buyed I noticed that it's just like the bag that Jack (from 24) have xDLove this bag.

SHIPPING This bag arrived on a Friday afternoon in Seattle Washington after being ordered on Monday night and being shipped from Van Nuys California. It was sent via USPS Priority Mail in a bag and when unfolded had a couple wrinkles which disappeared on their own after a few hours. FLAP The flap looks like the flap in the main picture of this bag, with one minor exception. It has one long piece of olive green colored velcro on the other side of the flap from the two rectangular pieces of fabric pictured. The small red tag with white writing on it is not present on my flap, but is instead located on the end of the bag, where the strap is sewn on. STRAP The strap looks pretty comfortable and durable. It's made of the same fabric as the rest of the bag. On one side of the bag it's sewn directly to the bag, and on the other side of the bag it's looped through a wide, flat, rectangular brass ring which is inserted through a wide loop of fabric on the bag. Another brass ring is used to adjust the length of the strap which can be as short as approximately 28" and as long as approximately 48". The length adjustment ring stays in place really well but is still easy to adjust and moves smoothly along the strap. SIDE POCKETS Each side of the bag has a pocket which runs nearly the height of the bag and has a brass snap. The main picture of this bag shows a red sports drink, which I thought was kind of deceiving until I tried to put a 32 oz. gatorade drink in each side. To my surprise, it actually fit! The pocket doesn't look big enough to hold one of these bottles, but it just barely is. The snap won't fasten with a 32oz bottle in the pocket, but without a bottle the snaps work very well and have a solid feel to them. Just above one side pocket is a small black tag (1cm x 1cm) which says RD in white and shows curved white lines sort of resembling wings. Just above the other side pocket is a small red tag (1cm tall by 3cm wide) that says RAPDOM in white letters. Apparently this stands for Rapid Dominance, which wikipedia says is some sort of military tactic where you just overwhelm your opponent into giving up. BACK OF BAG The back of this bag (the side that rests against your body) has one large pocket that is approximately 7" tall (2/3 to 3/4 as tall as the bag's main compartment) and as wide as the bag (approximately 14"). It has one small piece of velcro just below the top edge of the pocket to close it. UNDER THE FLAP When you un-velcro the main flap and flip it out of the way, you find two large pouches. Each pouch has a zipper running along the top and a small square of velcro on the outside that the flap's velcro attaches to. The pouches are each approximately 7" tall and 6" wide. The zippers each have a logo like the one by the strap which says RD (same brass color as the rest of the zipper). The pockets both zip closed to the inside of the bag, so you wouldnt be able to reach under the flap and grab the zippers and open the pouches with the main flap closed. This seems more secure than the alternative. Above the right-hand pouch is an olive green tag (slightly lighter colored than the darker olive green of the bag) that says "RAPID DOMINANCE Standard Issue" and has the black RD logo and also a line for you to write your name: "Name_____________________". MAIN COMPARTMENT The main compartment of this bag has a long zipper that runs the length of the bag and when you unzip this zipper you find a shiny olive green vinyl lining inside. On one inner wall of the main compartment in the vinyl lining is an inner pocket approximately the size of one of the pouches on the outside. The vinyl is pretty solid, but not too thick, so I wouldn't put anything sharp or heavy in this inner pocket. The main compartment of the bag, however, seems very durable.This is great!

Incompatability with Mac cases
I'm sure this keyboard skin would have been great. However, all our company's MacBooks currently have Speck cases on them, and this skin would not fit correctly with that case on there. So beware, if you have a Speck case, or possibly another type of case, this will probably not fit right on your computer.chose wisely or be lucky
I changed keyboard skins twice. Initially I purchased two, black for my wife's black MacBook and a clear one for my white MacBook. I did not know they were both made up of different materials. Black one, is not see through, but for some reason did not stretch and make a popping sound like my clear one did. So on one had I had a nice clear cover, with which I can see the Cap Lock light on, on the other it popped with each key. The popping sound started to annoy me; it sounded like it was being suctioned and let loose with each keystroke. So I purchased a white one. White one looks good, it's not transparent (but you can still see the green Cap Lock light), it doesn't make the popping sound, but the F-keys are not in order. So if you're planning on purchasing a white one I suggest you to have your F-key functions memorized- e.g. F5=Volume up, etc.WARNING: PLASTIC WILL STAIN YOUR MACBOOK
I wrote a review previously, praising this product. After about a month or so of using the Rasfox Macbook skin, I made a recent discovery to prompt me to write this followup review. I took the skin off to wash it and discovered that the plastic has somewhat reacted to the surface of my macbook. This could be because the machine does generate a small but insignificant amount of heat. Nevertheless, whatever material they choose to make this with should go through some sort of temperature testing before being sold for use. The material is sticky and after wiping it off with a damp cloth and water, the stickyness is gone but has left behind patches of lighter areas. It looks like what it would if you touched your macbook with greasy hands- only, it's there for good. I am REALLY annoyed about this because I purchased this product to protect my investment and it has done the opposite of what it's designed to do.Great Product
I love this product. I wasn't sure how well it was going to fit over the keyboard, but it fit perfectly. If I don't like it, I can just take it off. I actually like the feel of typing on it. You can still read the keys through the cover. I got this because I didn't want to get stains on the wrist rest and this cover works for the button, keys, and wrist rest.Rasfox MacBook keyboard skin
I have used the Rasfox skin for a week now and have found it to be very good at protecting the keyboard. My typing has not been adversely affected by the skin. In fact, I even prefer the way the skin feels over the way the keyboard feels without it. The only criticism, and it is a minor one, is that the edges of the skin on the right and left of the MacBook at the bottom will curl up at times when I begin to type. This is not a serious problem for me but it may bother some people. Hopefully, it will not get worse with time. This is the reason I only give it 4 stars instead of 5 stars. I have the white color one that is designed specifically for the Leopard OS keyboard. The color matches the MacBook well while protecting it from accidental spills and what not. Overall, it is doing great at its intended job. I strongly recommend it for anyone wanting to protect the MacBook cover while still retaining its unique appearance.
