Glad I bought it....
Its a little heavy to be used for the purpose it was bought for (to be my 2nd bag/carryon when traveling with backpack) but it is a great, sturdy bag! It fits my laptop in neophrene sleeve, and pretty large Crumpler camera bag, so its a nicer alternative to a daypack for business travel. The organizing pockets are great. There is no key chain as promised - not sure if my bag is defective or description is outdated. The only thing that would make this bag more perfect - but would probably mar the ease of use - is some sort of rain protection flap for under/over the zipper. I could see how water could seep in....So close to perfection!
I wanted this bag for a purse. Ultimately I found it was too small. But this is not really a problem since Timbuk2 makes the same bag in Medium. Well, the problem is that the zipper gussets are very wide in order to close the bag, and when the zipper is open and the gussets flap down into the bag, they cover up the openings to all the interior pockets. So then you have to hold the gussets up and out of the bag with one hand while fishing around inside for the thing you want. Too much hassle. But in every other way these Timbuk2 bags are great.Love this bag!
We are using this bag in the next size up (medium) as a diaper bag & we love it! It's cool enough for mom or dad to use, quite roomy without being huge, has usable pockets for baby related stuff & is totally durable. Another great product by Timbuk2!Awesome brand of bags

I bought this bag for my new life in New York. I knew I needed a water-resistant bag for my laptop, so this is the one I chose. There is a way for water to still get in the bag, but it wasn't enough to make me worry (but I do have a separate sleeve that I put my computer in. Most of the time, though, I just used this bag to carry my work shoes and purse. It fit everything nicely and was comfortable to carry. It has nice pockets inside-- I wish the big one was a little more rigid or tailored or something, but it still works great... I just wish it had more pockets outside. Otherwise, though, I'd recommend this. I have the medium one. :)7/26/08

The backpack itself is not very practical-which is what I was looking for, but it is stylish and I teach in a middle school and the kids love my work bag- but that was not what I was going for.Great Pack

I am in college and was in need of a good backpack, I ordered this one and am not disappointed! It isn't a HUGE pack, so if you are carrying around a lot of books, this is not the bag for you. However, I attend a small college, so I can go to my car at lunch or even between classes, so I do not have to carry a TON in my bag at once. It is a great size, and has an organizer thing in the front for pencils and other small items. It has a cup holder on one side which is great for my soda that I always carry, and a cell phone pocket on the strap. I like it a lot.

I searched long and hard for a suitable luggage option that incorporated adequate capacity, yet portability for an active vacation. My wife and I are traveling to the Cinque Terre in Italy and anticipate some challenging terrain for carrying luggage. I wanted a bag that would convert to a backpack carrying style when needed, but with capacity for a week's worth of travel. We purchased two of these bags just before a recent trip to Cozumel and they were great. We carried all our necessities including snorkel gear! For the seasoned traveler who wants to pack and travel with a single checked bag, this is the perfect option.Not what I ordered, But...
I didn't get what I ordered. I ordered BLUE, but didn't receive my item. After an appropriate amount of time, I contacted the seller. The seller had no record of my order, but promised to make good on the purchase. The Blue color was no longer available, but I was given another color option and it shipped quickly. I absolutely LOVE this bag and it has quickly become my favorite! I am a bit hurried in my life and I often just need to throw something in my bag and go. This bag fits files from work, snack bags for the kids and whatever else I might need. Beautiful modern styling. The leather is soft, yet of obvious high quality. Brushed silver/nickel tone finish is very classy. The stitching detail is actually a muted gray and not white, which keeps the stitching from being too stark against the black leather. Very roomy inside, and if you need a little bit of organization in your bag, there are pockets inside. There are two large openings, one under the flap and an outside zipper compartment. I just received this messenger bag and I am VERY IMPRESSED!!! The leather is soft and the white stitching gives a nice contrast against the black leather. Very roomy outside zipper pocket with a couple of pockets inside for cell phone, pda, pens, whatever! The inside is very roomy as well. I am using mine for a purse/tote for everyday use. It is definately roomy enough for someone with books, folders, magazines, etc. It has a hidden magnetic flap closure which is sort of a nice touch. This bag is casual enough for everyday use, yet still classy enough for the boardroom, unlike alot of bags out there made with nylon, clips, and straps, which is not a bad thing, but I prefer a more sophisticated look. A grounded adapter or non grounded adapter only changes the pin configuration to fit inside another country's electrical outlet. An adapter does not change the voltage. You need to check your appliance's voltage to see if it is dual voltage 110 - 240 volts. If so, all you need is an adapter and they do the job fine. If the appliance rating is only for 120 volts and it is not dual voltage, then you will need to buy a converter or transformer to go with the adapter. This converter ( or transformer) will then lower the incoming voltage down from 240 volts ( in Europe, Africa and most of Asia ) to 120 volts. Remember - adapters only adapt the pins, they do not change the voltage. I purchased this bag from Amazon for $59.99, not from a Marketplace seller. I guess Amazon is out of stock because I am not seeing that page anymore. However, under the description page existing at the time I bought mine, the headline was "High Sierra 21" Passport Travel Pack" and the description had its measurements as being 21"x 14". I am seeing more accurate descriptions of the size from other sellers, such as the one above. The bag I received measured 22.5 inches in length and was 15 inches wide--a bit larger than the description and cutting it a bit close on what an airline will allow in a carry-on bag, which is what I purchased it for. For that reason, I am returning it and will get something a bit smaller. While I am returning it, I gave it four stars because it is a really well constructed bag and would be fantastic for backpacking. If you are considering this as a carry-on, keep the following points in mind--It is borderline too large to be a carry-on and was quite heavy even empty. While it is versatile in how you can carry it, this versatility means it has too many straps to contend with (I could envision myself wrestling with those in the confines of a small space on the plane) and the waist strap is just in the way. I see this as a pack for someone backpacking across Europe (or maybe flying first class with larger seats, you lucky duck), not flying coach. It is just too large for that. :(Great for hikking, lots of space
I bought this to replace a broken, smaller bag and I'm loving it. It's really comfortable even fully loaded. It has plenty of space, and it was big enough to pack an Xbox360 with all the cables and power source, 2 controls and enough cloth for a 4 day trip in winter!! Nothing but the best from it. I ordered this bag for a 2 week vacation in Ireland. Im glad that I chose this one because it turned out to be a great bag. Lots of room for all my gizmos and other misc items. Loved how you could turn it from a backpack to a duffel bag. Having the shoulder strap was a nice feature. I only wish that the outside of the bag had more pockets, but all in all a wonderful bag.Ideal for short trips
Took two of these on a recent trip, and I was very happy. I'm a girl with a small frame and had no problems carrying this - another reviewer here feels differently though, so perhaps it depends on your needs. I didn't take this hiking and can't vouch for its performance there. Great for backpacking travel though, if your trip is relatively short and you want to travel light. Very sturdy and survived being checked into airport luggage on the way back. It could use a few more pockets, but otherwise I was very happy and would definitely go for High Sierra again; I doubt I'd pay the exorbitant list price, but on Amazon this is an excellent deal.heavy then what I think, great design

I just got my Dakine Prom backpack the other day, and it is really nice. It's roomy and has lots of specialized compartments. The laptop sleeve holds my macbook easily. I probably pack light compared to most people, but the main compartment holds enough clothes for a week-long trip for me, with room to spare. The sunglasses pouch holds my glasses or other small items (like a wallet) with ease. The insulated cooler pouch is the perfect size for my fit & fresh lunch container. The organizer pouch has room for my ipod nano and phone plus all necessary cords, chargers, etc. The size and strap design are very comfortable and seem to be designed for someone with a small frame, although the straps could be adjusted as needed. Because of the strap design, the weight is distributed more evenly and there is nothing putting pressure on my back or chafing my shoulders. The bag seems to be durable and well-made. I appreciate that the zippers are more heavy duty than those found on most backpacks. As an added bonus, the bag (I have the Ocean Plaid pattern) is very cute and stylish. I've had more expensive bags that weren't nearly as functional, so this is a great buy!Young girls bookbag

I bought this bag and I loved the room and the spacing. The very first day, I went to get the telescope handle, and w/o any weight at all, it snapped off. The metal split and the plastic broke. I have returned it and I am looking for another bag from another company, but I really am disappointed b/c the bag part was cute and roomy.strong, and good looking too....
My son is in Junior High. He loves his rolling backpack and the other kids like to kick it. This one holds us, though, through all sorts of kicking, dragging, bouncing up and down stairs and curbs. Lots of great pockets and sections too.Works for me!
I purchased this backpack to use in my second and third trimester of pregnancy at the college I attend. The doctor advised (and my husband insisted) that I no longer lug around the 40+ pounds of "stuff" I need for a day on campus. So far this backpack has been working out well. The pockets are big enough to hold the books/folders/lab manuals/notebooks I need for my three classes plus my laptop and various other random things I've decided can't be left behind (antacids, anyone?). A couple times I've been positive the cloth handle was going to tear off as I lifted it into my car, but it's held firm without a hint of fraying or ripping. The only reason I didn't give this product a full 5-stars is that the pull handle used for wheeling along is a little wobbly. It's doing fine so far, but I'm only in my 2nd week of hardcore use and I can just tell it's going to be a problem eventually. I made sure to keep the little tag telling me where to send it in for warranty repair should my instincts be correct.Great for travel and convention
I bought this to take to conventions with me. Knowing I usually end up with a lot of books, handouts and going back and forth between presenters I needed someplace to stow all my heavy items and move around without hurting my back. The outside water bottle packets are convenient and all the internal dividers and pockets allowed me to organize all my things and access them with ease. The only drawback is the handle, the T shape is inconvenient and the backpack often rolled on its side as I was pulling, then I had to stop and flip it back to its normal position. A regular upside down U handle would be much better to grab and more stable to pull. It's big enough that it can be used for overnight travel as well. Otherwise I really like it and plan on using it often. P.S. because of its hard bottom I could not stow under the airplane seat. I would offer a smaller version of this one just for airplane travel that could be stowed under the airline seat.bad handle quality, dont' buy
I bought this bag for my 5th grader after he went through a couple of rolling backpacks earlier, thinking that this is the one. After only 2 weeks, the handle came off when he was getting ready for school. Although the backpack looks pretty solid bag wise, the handle part does look very shaky. I remember thinking about that when I first received it. Guess my instinct was right.7/8/08

I used this product in London and it worked perfectly. This product is just an adaptor and if your electronic equipment doesn't have the correct voltage, you will also need a converter.Useful but not universal
This fits two pin US plugs to the UK three prong standard. It seems well made but is pricier than some alternatives. Be warned that if you have any 3-pin US plugs this will NOT work. For me that's not an issue for most of my devices such as camera battery chargers but if you're travelling with a laptop which has a 3-pin US plug look at other products. The posted image is somewhat misleasding in this respect.Excellent US to Great Britain adapter.
Fits American plugs well, both double-pronged and grounded plugs, including those with one prong larger than the other. Also takes continental European double-circular plugs. Price is a bit high for a simple converter, but it seems well-made and is a good investment in an overseas trip. Fast service and product is exactly as described.Job done!

Excellent case, great price
As an IT professional I require a business case of some sort to carry my necessities (Laptop, PDA, cell, etc) to and from work on a daily basis. I've tried many cases over the years ranging from the soft sided Targus and its clones, to messenger bags, backpacks and even conventional attaché cases. Generally speaking, they all had some shortcoming that always left me wanting, until I discovered the Samsonite 4" computer attaché. Style-wise, in my opinion it is hard to beat a good looking aluminum attaché and this Samsonite is no exception. Though I don't use the included strap much, it is in fact quite comfortable, does not squeak and holds the case quite securely. The carrying handle is comfortable and the combination locks are a nice addition and I use them when I want to leave something at my desk in a somewhat secure fashion. Though the organizational offerings inside are spartan, considering what I got the case for it does the job just fine. I've got a spot for my cell and PDA, I put my portfolio and papers in the top half and the bottom half securely holds my widescreen laptop and power supply. The padding inside, which seems minimal, is actually plenty when combined with the hard sides of the case; something which I can unfortunately say I've accidentally tested out with more than one 2-3ft drop. Unlike a soft sided case, in which an impact with a pointy object could break your LCD, I've found the hard sides to be a lifesaver on more than one occasion. Overall, it offers an excellent value, has great style, the construction is quite solid and it isn't over-engineered leaving just the features I actually use. I would definitely buy this product again and would recommend it to others.Great case
I have a 15" widescreen laptop and it just fits inside this, which is how I wanted it. Overall, it's a well-built case that I'll certainly trust to protect my laptop. I researched a number of laptop sleeves for price, looks, degree of protection, and portability. This is the one I finally ordered, and I'm glad I did. The price is very moderate, and the sleeve is cool-looking. More importantly, the sleeve seems well enough constructed to save the laptop from small-to-moderate bumps and falls. This is really a laptop slipcase which you would insert into a larger bag while travelling, or you would use it for short trips in your car for example. I have looked at many laptop sleeves in stores. The brain bucket's padding is among the best. Perhaps only the Sumdex memory foam slipcase could offer more protection. The brain bucket mini has quality construction and light, weighing in under one pound! It fits my work Dell Latitude D600 14.1" screen perfectly and offers very good protection. The side pocket accomodates the Dell power supply and a slim binder. Although the literature says it will fit most 14" and 15" laptops, it was about 1/2" too small for my wife's 15.4" widescreen Vaio laptop. If you have a 15.4" widescreen slipcase, then look at the regular size brain bucket. I would have given this bag a rating of 5 stars, but I deducted one star because it does not have a detachable shoulder strap. I would also have liked a zippered side pocket to prevent objects from slipping out - but thats asking too much.Very nice bag, suitable for a smaller laptop.

Awesome Quality and Strength!
Finally a backpack that my 16 yr old son did not destroy within a month. In fact, he has had this backpack for most of the school year and will be using it again next year. I can't get over the weight that this thing can hold without ripping or falling apart. It comes home stuffed with books every night. This backpack has saved me money since I have not had to make 3 trips to Walmart for new ones like I did last year. I also own an Ogio golf bag which is top quality as well.super duper backpack

I pruchased both this item and the two prong version. I only used the three version as all outlets in Australia are grounded. Good and sturdy, it performed well. My only complaint is that the female end is recessed which makes it difficult if you have a cube tap or transformer to plug in - one then has to use an extender with the adapater.
